All about the role
Supervises the daily planning operations for direct reports, ensures execution of day-to-day objectives for the team, and ensures detailed policies and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and/or other stakeholders. Provides guidance, trains, delegates, coordinates and reviews the work of others. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and set daily, weekly and monthly objectives; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Acts as a specialist support role.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be:
Courier Demand Planning / Operational Planning
- Conduct weekly Order Volume trend and Planning and Operational KPIs analysis
- Lead weekly connection with key stakeholders to enhance weekly Order Volume and Courier Demand
- Owner and responsible for the Courier Demand Planning Process in the country
- Analyze planning and operational KPIs trends and prepare the weekly operational planning for Local Operations to execute
Courier Scheduling
- Owner and responsible for the Courier Scheduling Process in the country
- Analyze operational KPIs trends and refine country operational strategy to align with long-term objectives;
- Align with local operational stakeholders on weekly strategies for scheduling
Target and Performance Management
- Partner up with the F&P Team Lead and Business Planner to execute planning KPI targets
- Monitor planning and operational performance against targets and provide insights
Continuous Improvement / Operational Planning
- Be a local Point of Contact (SPOC) for any Operational Planning matters for processes and tools
- Change and continuous improvement mindset to partner up with Global Organization
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality of planning to optimize country performance and enhance operational efficiency;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement global process and tool improvements in the country
Can you deliver…
Here are the skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business or related field
- 5+ years related experience in demand planning or demand analytics roles
- Strong experience in resource execution planning
- 2+ years Experience in People Management
- Proficiency in data analysis and data analysis tools (Excel and Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and identify trends
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans to drive results
- Ability to write and speak in English at a minimum level of B2/C1
